Observation

General close observation of the patient is indicated to ensure that there are no late sequela such as:

• Delayed CSF leak
• Neurological symptoms (infection)

Monitoring of the patient must include:

• Close clinical observation with regular neuro checks
• Re-scan

Observation implies close follow-up. For aftercare and rehabilitation following observation, please refer to your local protocol.
