Neoadjuvant therapy
General considerations
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy plays a crucial role in the treatment of some primary bone tumors. As such, it is recommended that these patients are presented pre-operatively at a multidisciplinary sarcoma conference which includes radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists.
