Adjuvant therapy
General considerations
Post-operative radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy can be considered post-operatively in certain settings, i.e. positive surgical margins, histological type, or grade. As such, it is recommended that these patients are presented post-operatively for another review at a multidisciplinary sarcoma conference which includes radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists.
