33B2.3   Partial articular fracture, medial condyle, sagittal fragmentary

33B2.3 Sagittal fragmentary

Partial articular fractures of the medial condyle in the sagittal plane commonly result from a varus stress, combined with a rotational component.

These fractures are not common. They may be associated with ligamentous injuries to the knee. They are challenging to fix in osteoporotic bone.
