Approach to the orbit
The incision is centered over the fracture and depending on the surgical findings extended beyond the fracture ends.
Special attention must be paid to the following nervous structures:
- Frontal nerve
- Auriculopalpebral nerve
These nerves must be prepared and isolated during the surgical procedure to avoid damage to these structures.
