Arthroscopic approach to the equine carpus
1. Portals for frontal radial facet
These fractures are repaired using an arthroscopic approach to the middle carpal joint for reduction and a stab incision for insertion of the cortex screw in lag fashion.
The arthroscopic approach uses conventional technique with a lateral arthroscopic portal (1) and a medial instrument portal (2).
