Mobilization

1. Mobilization

Stable periprosthetic fractures should be treated with early mobilization. Depending on fracture pattern, protected weight-bearing should be considered from non-weight bearing to partial weight-bearing using assistive devices for 6 to 8 weeks.

Physical therapy can be utilized to assist in mobilization and joint range of motion.
