Simple oblique fracture

This fracture is classified as an AO/OTA 42A2 fracture. These are simple diaphyseal fractures of the tibia, with an oblique fracture line, located at any level of the diaphysis.

An oblique fracture line is defined as having an inclination equal to or greater than 30º to the perpendicular axis of the tibia.
