Glenoid fossa, partial articular, transverse simple

These are simple transverse or oblique fractures of the glenoid fossa (not rim).

This is a transverse or oblique intraarticular fracture (not rim).  There are many potential variations of the fracture line.  Some of these fractures are associated with inferior dislocation of the shoulder. Due to the fracture mechanism, there will often be an impaction of the inferior glenoid segment.
