13C2   Complete articular fracture, simple articular, wedge or multifragmentary metaphyseal

This fracture type is classified by the AO/OTA as 13C2. The metaphyseal component may be:

• Intact wedge fracture (13C2.1), with the wedge lateral (f) or medial (h)
• Fragmentary wedge fracture (13C2.2), with the wedge lateral (f) or medial (h)
• Multifragmentary fracture (13C2.3), with the metaphyseal component being an intact wedge and/or fragmentary wedge on both columns

All three sides of the triangle of stability are broken.
