Supraorbital ridge/orbital roof malposition

This condition is usually the result of an untreated lateral frontal bone fracture.

Cosmetic deformity is usually associated with globe dystopia and diplopia when there is an inferior bone fragment displacement, pushing the eye downwards.

Inferior globe displacement may also be caused by mucocele formation when sinus drainage is impaired.

Frontal sinus function and bone defects in the anterior table are critical for treatment planning, and should be evaluated in detail with adequate imaging in these patients.
